THE TRI-COUNTY REGIONAL HISPANIC CHAMBER OF COMMERCE (TRHCC) AND THE ASOCIACION COLOMBIANA DEL METROPLEX SIGNED A MEMORANDUM OF STRATEGIC ALLIANCE COLLABORATE IN THE EXPANSION OF ITS BUSINESS MEMBERS AT THE LOCAL AND INTERNATIONAL LEVELS

With the signing of the Memorandum of Strategic Alliance, this will unite the two associations to fulfill a common mission: "to support the creation of new businesses and foster growth and expand existing ones," says the memorandum. The parties intend, with a great spirit of collaboration, working together to fill the gaps in small business and solidify their relationship in quantifiable economic projects that benefit their members. The agreement was signed for a term of two years and comes into effect on July 20, 2012, the day that celebrates the independence of Colombia, creating a mechanism for communication and commitment in the management of business meetings and trade both locally and internationally.

Juan Borda, President of the Asociacion Colombiana del Metroplex and Herb Moncibais, the TRHCC Chairman, agreed to disseminate information about events of the institutions on their websites, providing specialists that educate members about two geopolitical areas when required by a party, provide support to corporations that relocate to the cities in which institutions serve their members, bringing them in addition to the respective Directors of Economic Development, and an exchange of ideas productive for the enrichment of business members.

"The recent implementation of the Free Trade Agreement between Colombia and the U.S. formalized a natural alliance between the two organizations for the furtherance of their missions. Colombia has 27.000 practitioners in the counties where our TRHCC Chambers are located, "said Patricia Moore, a member of the Board of TCRHCC.

The Tri-County Regional Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (TRHCC) is the most innovative chamber infrastructure in the country and covers the counties of Collin, Dallas, Denton and Rockwall. It's mission is, among others, to provide support and promote growth opportunities for members of their chambers subsidiaries in different cities and businesses to connect with Hispanic and Non-Hispanic and open the doors to their markets.

The Colombian Association was founded in 1991 and integrates with Colombians living in North Texas. The partnership has proven to be the most efficient way to disseminate, maintain and promote Colombian culture and traditions. Its programs are aimed at supporting its members in programs leading to increased profits from their business and to establish a forum for mutual support among members.
